Surgical Automations, a Dallas-based surgical-robotics company operating in stealth mode, has closed an oversubscribed $3.4 million seed round to accelerate development of its next-generation gastrointestinal (GI) endoscopy platform. The funding round was co-led by Dr. Fred Moll, founder of Intuitive Surgical, and TurboStart, a Bengaluru-based cross-border venture capital firm.
